You were my special one, the one I kept because I could love you better than anyone else.

My Macky-dog, Macky-doodle, Macky-boo, you gave me ten years of unconditional love.

Your “wra-wroooo” answer to my “he-lloooo” when I came home each day was such a joy!

It is so quiet without you now.

You were such a character with the thump-thump-thump of your hind leg when we found that special spot to scratch. Pure ecstasy!

The evenings you used to snuggle up on my lap when you were older were some of life’s best.

How I miss your smile!

You were so handsome that people asked if you were a show dog.

You were so skilled at tracking small animals that you would have trophied in the field.

Forgive me for not allowing you to live to your full potential in competition.

You were the best of companions, fiercely loyal and loving. Was it enough for you?

You understand now where Chelsea went when she left us. I wanted so much for you understand her passing and to ease your grief. I pray that you two are together again for always.

You won over Tim with your charms.

Thank you for sharing your life with us.
